1. HAVE THE DESIRE TO MAKE A’S IN ALL YOUR COURSE BADLY.
A lot of students wishes to have a distinction in all their courses, but few students provide the definite plan and the burning desire, which paves the road to success.
For you to have a distinction in all your course you must have a strong desire for it, now you know what you want which is to make first-class then you must be willing and ready to put in the hours it takes to achieve it.
2. WRITE DOWN YOUR GOAL
A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. Your goal in the higher institution is to make first class. it is imperative to write down your goal somewhere-maybe in your personal journal or paste it in your room where you can see it always.
Writting down your goal will make it impressionable and achievable. If you don’t have a goal in the university, my brother you just wasted your time.
3. GET ALL YOUR COURSE OUTLINE FOR THE SEMESTER
For you to make first-class, you have to get all your course outline for the semester in hand because your tests and examination will be drawn out from the course outline and also prepare all your materials/handouts for the semester.
4. GET YOUR MATERIALS/HANDOUTS FOR ALL YOUR COURSE FOR THE SEMESTER
Materials/Handouts is a reading text where all your tests and examination question will be drawn from, you have to get them and read them, digest them properly to get first class, you have to cover most of your course outline.
5. GET PAST QUESTION
Past question, are questions papers that your senior colleagues in your department have done earlier when they are in your level. so you have to get them to have knowledge about how your lectures set their questions and how you suppose to answer them, you can get this information from your seniors who have passed through that level.
6. ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU ATTEND LECTURE REGULARLY
You have to ensure you are always present in the class regularly, whenever you are in the class always pay attention carefully to what your lecturer is saying, you make sure you jot what is saying, then you make a comparison of his lecture with that of your course materials.
